The Speaker is obligated to sign all House Resolutions (H. Res.) that have passed the House. However, the Speaker may choose to sign any enrolled (passed the House) Joint Resolutions (H. J. Res.) or bills (HR). Under Article 3, Section 7 of the House Constitution, the Speaker shall have 3 days after being presented the measure to either sign or veto the measure.
It is important to note that while H. J. Res. have the veto power, if they are signed into law, they are not given a law number nor do their changes reflect in House Code log below each statue. Only bills are given a law number and are cited below each statue in Code.
