LaPORTE—Speaker Tim W. Cavinder made the following announcement with the introduction to the Anti-Terriorism Support Act after the attacks in Israel.
We cannot let the terriosts win. Given the recent attacks in Israel, and the rise in threats across the world, I am introducing the Anti-Terriorism Act that will raise taxes among all House Member by 12% to go towards efforts to counter terriorism across the world.
I urge my Members to support this legislation so we can defeat the terriosts and be able to provide emergency funding to Israel and Ukraine during this difficult time.
