Speaker Cavinder, Health Advisor test Positive for COVID-19

This week Christina Cavinder, the Health Advisor of the House, and Leo W. Cavinder, Speaker of the House both test positive for COVID-19. Both of these members are up to date on their COVID-19 vaccines. The Speaker is experiencing a cough and the Health Advisor is experiencing vomiting.
We are working to schedule testing at the five and ten day mark when members test positive for COVID-19. As required by law, these Members are marked as ill under The Sick Reporting Act.
Members who failed to report as required have been fined. We are working on legislation to give money back to those who suffered by getting COVID-19 by using the funds collected from fines related to Title XI.
