Members are reminded that they are required by law to report when they are ill and when they are no longer ill. This is required under the Sick Reporting Act (HR 20).
Everytime the Speaker must manually enter when a Member is ill, is a violation of the law and Members can be issued fines for violating the Act. Members can access report this information easily online via the Online Reporting System (ORS) through HOUSE Net.
