LaPORTE—Speaker Leo W. Cavinder announces that in light of the ice storm and the rescheduling of Russell Cavinder's viewing and funeral, the Speaker will now be in La Porte on January 24 and 25.
Speaker Cavinder will be leaving Bloomington on January 24 at approximately 11:30 AM EST (10:30 CST) and should arrive in LaPorte within 3 and a half hours. The Speaker will attend the visitation which is scheduled to begin at 5:00 PM EST (4:00 PM CST).
Subsequently, the Speaker will attend the funeral which is scheduled to take place on Thursday, January 25 at 2:00 PM EST (1:00 PM CST). Following this, the Speaker plans to return to Bloominton.
